Barcelona beat Hearts 3-1 in yesterday afternoon’s match at Murrayfield in which Ronaldinho scored twice, with Giovani Dos Santos scoring the third goal for Barça.

Last night’s friendly match between Dundee United and FC Barcelona may have been unspectacular, but the match did see Thierry Henry score his first goal for FC Barcelona.

Barcelona’s players are still clearly in post-holiday mode, and to be fair to them that’s the reason for the pre-season tour after all. Henry’s debut came in the second half and when he was called in to take a penalty for a foul against Giovani. Although he failed to score from the penalty shot he made sure of the rebound.

The final score was Dundee 0, Barcelona 1 and Barcelona’s Scottish leg of the pre-season tour continues on Saturday with a match against Hearts of Midlothian.

A great result (1-5) but too much was riding on Mallorca.

3-1 to Madrid almost certainly means they walk away with the league title.

Madrid are now beating Mallorca 2-0 and heading the table.

Madrid has just scored against Mallorca. Barcelona still leads the table but we need Mallorca to score again for comfort.
