1-1 draw at Espanyol

FC Barcelona continued their indifferent away form on Saturday night with a draw against rival Barcelona team Espanyol. Barcelona’s highlight of the match was Messi’s deep penetration inside the Espanyol defense followed by a pass to Iniesta who knocked the ball in.

Barcelona created far more chances than Espanyol, but failed to capitalise once more; they should have won the match, but once again failed to deliver the goods when it counted. With Real Madrid beating Racing it leaves Barcelona 4 points behind the league leaders.
